Atelier Orea began after years spent inside luxury hospitality, from five-star hotels to fine-dining restaurants. In these spaces, quality was often felt through quiet details: the sheet against the skin, the weight of a towel, the linen laid for a meal.

Yet behind the scenes, textiles were too often treated as replaceable supplies. Decisions were reduced to price or convenience, while material quality, longevity and the people behind the work became secondary.

Later, a profound personal loss changed how I thought about health, our surroundings and what we live with each day. It gave greater urgency to questions already present in the work: what deserves to be made, how it should be made and what must not be lost in the process.

Atelier Orea grew from that point. The intention was to build a textile house capable of meeting exacting professional standards without losing the people, knowledge and attention behind the work. From the first conversation to the finished textile, each project remains close to the people responsible for making it.

Today, the house develops custom bed, bath, spa, table and yacht textiles alongside signature handwoven collections. Across every part of the work, skilled hands and human judgment remain present. Quality is carried not only by the material itself, but by the people who cut, sew, embroider, finish and inspect it.

As Atelier Orea grows, my responsibility is to preserve that relationship between the people, the work and the finished textile.
